4.5 stars. This was a great Christmas book It was fun to see what the girls did over the holidays and just how much trouble they managed to get into This was a light enjoyable read sprinkled with the Christmas cheer, and though it was harder for me to get into the mood in June, it puts me in anticipation of the next Christmas. With romance and adventure, this is a wonderful installment in the series I look forward to the next and last one even as I dread having to say goodbye This has really 4.5 stars. This was a great Christmas book It was fun to see what the girls did over the holidays anticipation of the next Christmas. With romance and adventure, this is a wonderful installment in the series I look forward to the next and last one even as I dread having to say goodbye This has really been a great series. The cover is not my favorite though 3 stars For some reason, the girls look kind of oh, I don t know evil on the picture And Mac and Lissa look too different from how they did on the other covers They look like different models Shani s the same though SPOILER ALERT Okay, so good book Good ending But it didn t seem very complete to me First of all, Mac didn t get saved What is up with that It was like slowly building up to it, and then nothing happens She s a better person, yeah, but it doesn t say anything about her receiving Christ.Second, I wanted a bitMac and Alasdair romance in the end I got a kiss at New Years, but I wantedcuteness A desperate kiss as they say goodbye for now , a warm hug, near tears, an I ll see you soon or call me in a husky voice Call me a romantic Whatever I wanted the scene. But, other than those two, bravo, great book Let s move on to the characters.Mac was awesome Her scheming ways sure come in handy at times And I m so glad they worked I m glad she figured out just who her real friends are I think she made a wise decision, going to college and then back to Strathcairn to help with the hotel I can so see her and Alasdair there in ten years, running the place with her parents and whatever little ones they have by then Cute.Alasdair was a sweetheart I love how he calls Mac Lindsay It s so much prettier That was so cute with the whole Cinderella type thing, you know, rags vs riches But seriously, how sad that he didn t think a relationship would work because he was poor Sad, and completely adorable I m so glad she changed his mind I think he d be a great addition to the MacPhail family, and apparently Mummy agrees with me too.Honestly, how weird is it to actually call someone who is not your mother Mummy I ll answer that Very But since I don t remember what her first name was and Mrs MacPhail or Countess of Strathcairn are much to formal, I will call her exactly that Mummy Despite the total weirdness factor Anyway She was great I knew she still liked Mac s dad, despite the divorce Though I understand how she felt she couldn t trust him when she found out about David, I wish they had been able to work it out instead of separating But, sorrows in the past, I am so glad they are together again Mac s dad or Daddy was wonderful as well He was the perfect stubborn Scottish earl, not about to see his castle overrun by irreverent tourists But then he was also the perfect softhearted father, who would bend if it made his family happy and was willing to sacrifice to keep his heritage Great guy.Shani I felt sorry for the poor girl That whole moment with the Sheikh crashing in the party and then showing up later, well, that was embarrassing And they were gonna drag her off as if she were so criminal, good grief Glad that was put into proper order At first, I wondered why Carly wasn t on the cover because she seemed to be next in line, but then it had the whole debacle with Shani and I knew why they put her on there instead Though I think Carly probably should have been in Lissa s place on the cover Carly was the same as ever Sweet, awesome, dependable I really love that girl.Lissa was great, of course I can t believe she doesn t realize Kaz is in love with her Seriously Is she just living in denial, or what It s so obvious, and he s like, been waiting forever, amazingly patient man Well, I guess she come to terms and hopefully kisses with it in the next book, as it is hers and the last.Gillian was the same old Gillian Forward, brave, kind Well, maybe not so much on the kind department sometimes I was getting upset at how angry she was at Mac for the video clip misunderstanding It wasn t like Mac had done it on purpose For a moment, it seemed like Gillian had forgotten they were even friends Thankfully, it was only for a moment.Carrie was horrid She was so selfish and mean But I think, at the base of it, despite all she said, she was upset and hurt because, in her eyes, Mac had abandoned her for new friends That moment when you realize there were 5 commas in that sentence Though I in no way condone her behavior She was a mo guai nuer, as Gillian would say.I hope Lissa s parents stay together They seemed fine, but I don t think the struggle is completely over yet So I guess Vanessa and Rashid are through At least it seemed like it sigh And here I was hoping Vanessa would truly change Though it only mentioned her like once, it sounds like Emily at least has decided to stop being a snob That s a plus.Looking forward to and dreading The Chic Shall Inherited the Earth, the final novel in the series

Hmm, not so sure about this one The book seemed to try to accomplish a lot, which made it feel disjointed The book had a happy ending, even though it was bittersweet. It made me wish I had read the Who Made You a Princess book since it was referenced a lot, but the copy in my library system is lost.

This book was a pretty good light holiday read with a Christian slant My biggest disappointment was in the title The book isn t really about great boys or any boys I think the author if she had creative control over the title was stretching a little to far with the cutesy.
