  1. says:

A well rounded short story with neat ending The characters were fleshed out, the horror was gruesome, and the romance was strong though subtly expressed.

This story, set in 1952 is about a man that gets hired to live in a haunted house to earn money so he can go to the wake of his older friend that he may or may not have been in love with.I think this story has much potential but really needed to be fleshed out in long form There are a lot of ideas crammed into these 42 pages and at times it left me feeling like I missed a step.
