Arkship Vengeance a review by Rosemary KennyBook two in the excellent Arkship Saga series by Noble Baron of the Space Opera, Niel Bushnell, entices the reader further into the epic saga of two warring space dynasties, in Arkship Vengeance. For two years the Church protected Wynn and his crew of the Arkship Vengeance, with its Humanitarian Aid Programme, but that period of grace is now over and the people of the House of Kendrick have been forced out into the depths of space, as Prince Halstead Arkship Vengeance a review by Rosemary KennyBook two in the excellent Arkship Saga series by Noble Baron of the Space Opera, Niel Bushnell, entices the reader further into the epic saga of two warring space dynasties, in Arkship Vengeance. For two years the Church protected Wynn and his crew of the Arkship Vengeance, with its Humanitarian Aid Programme, but that period of grace is now over and the people of the House of Kendrick have been forced out into the depths of space, as Prince Halstead prepares to make the House of Draig absolute rulers once .I liked the homage to W.A.L.L E with the remaining survivors from Earth forced to live aboard huge Arkships and the way that s been developed into a Romeo and Juliet theme of warring factions between different ships Also the way Wynn s character is developing as matures physically and emotionally, accepting his failings as a general and working to improve team work and prepare to try again to realise his destiny and save humanity at the same time.I wasn t so happy with the unfinished cliffhanger ending, but at least hopefully Niel Bushnell won t leave readers unsatisfied for too long before Book three I would definitely recommend this to YA readers of any age , who love a great space opera and apocalyptic events that shape humanity, with relatable engaging MCs, who have human flaws and failings, yet always aspire to overcome them and fight on for the greater good.Another winner for Niel Bushnell get the whole series and prepare for lift off

I really enjoyed this book, the second in the Arkship series The characters have grown a little, and learnt a little, or so it seems There is plenty of action, which generally means plenty of destruction and death Epic space battles aside, you would think these guys would learn some self preservation Some are working towards peace, some scheming for power and then there s the mysterious Plan of the Church All together it makes for an entertaining and quite original tale I received a fr I really enjoyed this book, the second in the Arkship series The characters have grown a little, and learnt a little, or so it seems There is plenty of action, which generally means plenty of destruction and death Epic space battles aside, you would think these guys would learn some self preservation Some are working towards peace, some scheming for power and then there s the mysterious Plan of the Church All together it makes for an entertaining and quite original tale I received a free ARC in return for an honest, unbiased review of this book

Great sequel to Arkship Obsidian Wynn is trying to be a good leader and struggling with the demands of his people and his need to lash out at the Draig Bushnell has created characters who seem real They have faults, dreams and are capable of all the highs and lows in everyone I found myself liking and loathing them I love it when a book draws me in and makes me care about the people in the book Can t wait for the next one
